I'm at Chapter 10 of the book that I mentioned in a previous post, "MySQL Tutorial"
So far this is what I'm able to do in mySQL:
1. I can create a database.
2. I can run queries.
3. I can tell you the difference between ISAM, MYISAM, InnoDB, BDB and HEAP databases
I'm thinking that in about another couple of days or so, I'm gonna get on to learning PHP scripting.
I was talking to Running Jason the other day and he seems to have some pretty good input as far as how I can make the most out of this project for little to no cost.
I'm also looking for someone, anyone, that might be interested in sharing some html knowledge with me. I'm knee deep into the backend stuff (database management and PHP scripting). So I would like to know if anyone has some knowledge to share about html and just making things look pretty.
Once the beta version goes up, it's gonna be very bare bones, just to make sure it's functioning.
Some words of wisdom that I picked up this week that I thought I would share with you guys:
"Doing something RIGHT is much more important that doing some FAST."
Go on ahead and marinate on that for a little bit.
Side Note: Listening to Zac Brown Band, this country music thing might not be that bad after all.
