This is my underdog story...

$300 million!!! How's that for an attention grabber?

Every story has an inspiration, mine comes from different places. When I'm off the clock at work, I spend a lot of time reading about other people doing what I'm trying to do. People that have been there and done that.

I've got a lot of companies that I can point to that I would eventually like to be like: Google, Facebook, Myspace, etc.

There's one company that stands out to me and has lived the story that I, along with every other startup, wants to follow, Urbanspoon

Sometimes I just need a little feel good story to keep me pushing through these long hours of writing code.

I specifically like the points about founding with good friends, the guys or gals that will be there with you either millions or bust.
